Screaming Blue Messiahs, 'Gun Shy' reissue

Record Rack: A weekly round-up of the pertinent new releases hitting stores this Tuesday:

ARTIST: The Screaming Blue Messiahs
RELEASES: Gun Shy, Bikini Red
BACKSTORY: Perhaps still best known for the semi-hit “I Wanna Be A Flinstone,” the punk- and rockabilly-influenced U.K. act sees its first two long-out-of-print albums, the latter of which contains the aforementioned single, reissued by Wounded Bird. Unfortunately, it appears they lack any bonus material whatsoever.

  1. It is about time that The Messiahs became available again. The band never received it’s proper due. Apparently, whatever legal problems with the band and it’s old label have been worked out.

Stuck In The 80s ought to celebrate this moment.
