Radio alert: Dave Kendall to spin ‘Really Stupid’ on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave on Friday

Sirius XM's 1st Wave

Got an e-mail this morning from “120 Minutes” creator/host Dave Kendall revealing that the Whitman Samplers’ parody song “Really Stupid” will “make its glorious debut” on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s “Party 360 with Dave Kendall” tomorrow night.

Kendall kindly tracked down a copy of the song — which poked fun at the Brit VJ by sampling his voice (“Do you ever wake up in the morning and think… I am really stupid?”) over a sampled riff from AC/DC’s “Back in Black” and the classic Clyde Stubblefield beat from James Brown’s “Funky Drummer” — over the summer after Slicing Up Eyeballs began searching for it.

You can hear it for yourself here, or tune in tomorrow night to Kendall’s “Party 360,” which airs from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Eastern on Sirius XM’s classic-alternative station, 1st Wave.
