ARTIST: Bob Mould
ALBUM: Life and Times
BACKSTORY: Thirty years after the formation of Husker Du and and 20 years after his classic solo debut, Workbook, Bob Mould releases a 10-song collection that, according to one reviewer, explores “the sourness of love gone wrong.”

ARTIST: Erasure
ALBUM: Total Pop! Deluxe Box
BACKSTORY: This 3CD/1DVD box from Rhino features newly remastered versions of all of the band’s singles from 1986 to 2007, live recordings spanning 1987 to 2007 and a DVD of live BBC performances from 1986 to 2005.

ARTIST: Depeche Mode
ALBUM: “Wrong”
BACKSTORY: The lead-off single from DM’s upcoming Sounds of the Universe is being issued in at least three different European formats, featuring a multitude of remixes and the non-album track “Oh Well.”

ARTIST: Siouxsie and the Banshees
ALBUM: A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, Nocturne, Hyaena, Tinderbox
BACKSTORY: The second round of single-disc Banshees reissues are each newly remastered and feature new liner notes by ex-NME scribe Paul Morley. Each also features a number of bonus tracks, except for Nocturne, which didn’t have room for any more music on a single disc
