1st Wave

If it’s Sunday night, it’s time to check in with the playlist from “Dark Wave” on Sirius XM’s classic-alt station 1st Wave. Tonight’s episode opened with — appropriately, given what came out last week — The Cure’s “Disintegration,” and featured such highlights as a rare airing of TSOL (“Flowers By the Door”); the return of Public Image Ltd.’s “Rise,” which opened the show for weeks on end earlier this year; and both Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and the Swans’ cover, although the latter might have been post-show (hard to tell sometimes).

“Dark Wave” airs each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.
