Pet Shop Boys unleash month-long Pandemonium Tour on North America

Pet Shop Boys

The Pet Shop Boys this morning announced a North American leg to the duo’s Pandemonium Tour, a trek that’ll see the group hitting 15 cities in late August and September.

The tour, named after a track on the band’s new album Yes, opens Aug. 29 in Montreal and wraps Sept. 26 in Las Vegas. Most cities only get one stop, but PSB will perform two nights apiece in New York and San Francisco.

The duo, in their press release announcing the tour, promise a multimedia show “that will include the Pet Shop Boys’ greatest hits and celebrate the new album.” The show will be directed by Es Devlin, choreographed by Lynne Page and feature live music provided by producer/remixer Stuart Price.

The group is holding a presale on Monday for its online fan community, and will also offer a limited number of VIP packages that include the opportunity to meet Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe. The presale begins at 1 p.m. Monday in the time zone of each show.
