Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave,’ 8/1/10

1st Wave

It’s that time of the week: We check in once again with the playlist from “Dark Wave,” the weekly Sunday night show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave that resurrects “the darker side of alternative.” This week’s highlights include Peter Murphy’s cover of the Magazine track “The Light Pours Out of Me,” the all-too-infrequently played “Love is Stronger Than Death” by The The, and a dash of Ciccone Youth.

“Dark Wave” airs each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.

  1. Hmmm. They do know that Concrete Blonde has other albums besides Bloodletting, don’t they?
