1st Wave

Tonight’s episode of “Dark Wave” — the weekly Sunday night show on Sirius XM’s classic-alternative station 1st Wave — managed a nice selection of lesser-played album cuts from a host of big-name acts, including Depeche Mode (“Sacred”), Siouxsie and the Banshees (“Night Shift”), Morrissey (“Disappointed”), The Jesus and Mary Chain (“Teenage Lust”) and The Cure (“Disintegration”).

And, as an aside, while it’s always great to hear The House of Love on 1st Wave… they do have more songs than just “Christine” to choose from. We’re just sayin’.

“Dark Wave” airs each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.. Pacific.
