Video: Unpacking The Cure’s ‘Entreat Plus’ limited-edition 2LP marble-vinyl set

Unboxing videos aren’t just for tech products, as Universal Music demonstrates in this 90-second piece put together to show off the new limited-edition marble-vinyl version of The Cure’s expanded Entreat Plus 2LP set (via Chain of Flowers). While this clip no doubt will excite LP fetishists, the marble-vinyl edition of the 1990 live album — remixed and expanded to a full 12 tracks, and included as Disc 3 in this year’s Disintegration reissue — is only available through Universal, and won’t be sold to U.S., Canada or — yes, it’s true — Afghanistan. A regular black-vinyl edition of the expanded live album will be released in the U.S. on Jan. 11.
