BACKSTORY: This 4LP box set, out this week, features the 4AD band’s already-reissued first two albums — Dead Can Dance (1984) and Spleen and Ideal (1986) — and the four-song Garden of the Arcane Delights EP (1984), plus a brand-new release: the four-track John Peel Session 19.11.83 (See tracklist here).

Ministry, 'Undercover'ARTIST: Ministry and Co-Conspirators

BACKSTORY: Al Jourgensen this week releases in the U.S. (it came out in the U.K. in October) a new compilation that combines a mix of the industrial giant’s best-loved hits and new cover versions of songs by the likes of AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix and Amy Winehouse. It’s nearly identical to the recent Everyday is Halloween compilation.
