Following appearances by Peter Gabriel and Jane’s Addiction earlier this fall, satellite provider DirecTV’s new performance and Q&A show “Guitar Center Sessions” this month spotlights The Cult. In the clip above, Ian Astbury and Co. perform their slow-burning new single “Embers” (for sale here as a “capsule”). The show airs throughout the month of December on DirecTV’s in-house 101 Network (and the provider’s new 3D channel, n3D).
