Video: Human League’s ‘Don’t You Want Me’ covered by Rocky Votolato, Matt Pond PA

The folks over at The Onion’s entertainment arm The AV Club have launched another round of their Undercover series, in which bands drop in on the site’s Chicago offices and pick a song off a predetermined list to cover live in a very small room. The latest installment finds Rocky Votolato and the members of Matt Pond PA doing a stripped-down take on The Human League’s 1981 synthpop classic “Don’t You Want Me,” which you can check out above.

Still on the AV Club’s list of songs to be covered in the coming months: Gary Numan’s “Cars,” The Clash’s “Janie Jones,” Pixies’ “Gigantic” and Sugar’s “If I Can’t Change Your Mind,” among many others. A new video is posted each week.
