The playlist from tonight’s edition of “Dark Wave” — the weekly “darker side of alternative” show on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave — featured Love and Rockets, The Human League, Death Cult and Kate Bush, plus rarely played cuts by The Cure (“One More Time”) and Depeche Mode (“Any Second Now”). “Dark Wave,” hosted by Swedish Egil, airs Sundays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern.

    This should be the kind of stuff they play on 1st Wave every night after 9p CT or so. And let’s have a hour-long show once a week of new material by these classic artists! There must be enough quality stuff to fill just one hour.
