Stream: Simple Minds, ‘Special View’ — B-side of debut single, off new ‘x5’ box set

With their new x5 box set out Monday in the U.K., Simple Minds today offered up a stream of one of the set’s remastered bonus tracks: “Special View,” the B-side to the band’s very first single, “Life in a Day,” originally released in 1979. The six-disc box set collects Life In A Day, Real To Real Cacophony, Empires and Dance, Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Calling and New Gold Dream (81, 82, 83, 84), with Sons and Fascination and Sister Feelings Calling packaged as separate discs.
