Morrissey postpones next 4 U.S. concerts to return to England to see ailing mother

Two weeks into his U.S. tour, Morrissey today postponed his next four concerts — in Pittsburgh, Pa.; Columbus, Ohio; Flint, Mich.; and Chicago, Ill. — to return to England to be with is mother, who “has been hospitalized and is unwell,” according to a note posted to quasi-official fansite True To You.  Fans are instructed to “hold on to their tickets and look out for the rescheduled dates,” which should be announced “within the coming days.” At the moment, the tour is scheduled to resume next Monday in Minneapolis.
