Morrissey to resume U.S. tour in early January following dates in Australia, New Zealand

Morrissey will reschedule the remainder of his postponed North American tour in the beginning of January following his planned December dates in Australia and New Zealand, according to a post today on semi-official fansite True To You, which reports that the new U.S. dates are due to be announced Nov. 12.

After first postponing just four dates, Morrissey this past week scrubbed the remaining 26 shows on his fall North American tour so that he could return to England to see his mother, who “has been hospitalized and is unwell.” The singer is now scheduled to resume his tour Dec. 14 in New Zealand, where he’ll play two concerts before performing four shows in Australia.
