My Bloody Valentine expands 2013 touring plans with 3 new U.K. concerts next March

Still no further word on Kevin Shields’ recent claim he’ll release the 21-years-in-the-making follow-up to My Bloody Valentine’s 1991 classic Loveless by the end of the year, but there are continued signs of life from the slumbering shoegaze giant, with MBV today announcing three U.K. shows set for next March.

MBV now will follow is three-date tour of Japan and headlining appearance at All Tomorrow’s Parties’ I’ll Be Your Mirror Melbourne in Australia next February with concerts in early March in Glasgow, Manchester and London, the band announced this morning on Facebook.

March 10: Apollo, Manchester, UK
March 12: Hammersmith Apollo, London, UK
May TBA: Tokyo Rocks, Japan

  2. After the disaster that was their re-issue campaign a well executed tour is definitely in order. Looking forward to some U.S. dates.

    Saw them on the Loveless tour with Dinosaur Jr opening up. MBV were so loud, a quarter of the people in the club had to sit outside to listen to it.

  5. Seeing them at Coachella was just mindblowing. SO glad I went!
