RELEASE: Vengeance: The Whole Story 1980-84
BACKSTORY: The long-running U.K. post-punk act this week reissues, in its home country, the band’s 1984 debut album as an expanded 2CD set featuring the full record, all EPs and single recordings, complete BBC sessions plus nine previously unreleased songs from 1980 and 1981, all remastered. The vinyl comes with two CDs.

BACKSTORY: The Paul Weller-led trio this week releases, in the U.S., a 30th anniversary reissue of the band’s 1982 album in a 2CD deluxe edition that includes 13 previously unreleased demos and alternate tracks. An even larger box set featuring a full concert was released last month in the U.K. (see full details).

BACKSTORY: Demon Music Group this week releases, in the U.K., an eight-disc vinyl box set compiling the catalog of Bob Mould’s post-Hüsker Dü act on 12-inch records. It includes the first-ever vinyl release of B-sides collection Besides and the live album The Joke is Always On Us, Sometimes (see full tracklist).

BACKSTORY: Rhino Records this week reissue the classic 1977 debut album from the New York band on vinyl. The album features such tracks as “See No Evil,” “Friction,” “Guiding Light,” “Prove It,” “Elevation” and “Venus.” The album is consdiered a classic of the late-’70s CBGB scene in New York City.
