Well, it’s the final day of 2012, so time has run out for us to unveil the results of the Slicing Up Eyeballs Readers Poll 2012. 1. The Stone Roses?

Definitely the live show of 2012 as far as I’m concerned.

  2. Notch Johnson

The only show I caught all year was the Mary Chain. Would love to catch stone roses in the US outside of a festival setting but I’m not holding my breath.

  3. My favorite concert of 2012 was Morrissey in San Diego, which happened to be his birthday.
He’s become a road warrior-he’s been touring almost nonstop for the past 2 years-and always is amazing!

    • Morrissey is a great live show, when he doesn’t pitch a girly fit and cancel the show, usually over some fake reason like meat being sold whiten 20 miles or some other bullshit.

  4. New Order were stunning all year. The most dates they have played since the 80s. Tom did an outstanding job filling in for Hooky. Caught them in Denver. Watched all their live webcasts. The band was in great form!

  5. Pogues, & Morrissey both put on great shows in Melbourne this year. New Order & Pulp both good too but not quite as good.

  6. Saw New Order in Chicago in October, they were incredible!

  7. THE CULT

  8. Saw Adam Ant in London, amazing gig. He should be listed higher, above the Cure at least.

  9. why wasn’t Madonna included in the pole?
