BACKSTORY: Yep Roc’s Record Store Day set, which features five 7-inch singles from Paul Weller’s 2012 album on colored vinyl and includes two previously unreleased songs, gets a wider release in the U.S. this week. The Record Store Day set also included an autographed Sonik Kicks poster.

BACKSTORY: The former Yazoo frontwoman returns this week, in the U.S., with her eighth studio album, an electronic-based collection that signer describes both as “prog-pop” and “born of reconstructed improvisation.” It’s her first new album in six years. The album came out in the U.K. last month.

RELEASE: Music of Quality and Distinction Vol. 3: Dark
BACKSTORY: The project led by Heaven 17′s Martyn Ware returns this week, in the U.S., with the third in its Music of Quality and Distinction Series, and first in 22 years. The new disc, which came out in the U.K. last month, features Andy Bell, Boy George, Glenn Gregory, Green Gartside and more.

RELEASE: Hurt Me
BACKSTORY: The former Heartbreaker’s out-of-print 1983 acoustic album is reissued this week, in the U.K., in a 2CD set, with the original album accompanied by a bonus disc featuring a complete showcase concert for the record performed in London that same year.
