The Replacements’ ‘All Shook Down’ to get first U.S. vinyl release on Black Friday

The Replacements, 'All Shook Down'

Record Store Day’s Black Friday spinoff is still a good three months away, but we’re getting our first hint of what’s to come: Namely the first-ever U.S. vinyl release of The Replacements’ final album, 1990’s All Shook Down. As Modern Vinyl points out, Org Music has announced a pair of Black Friday pressings, Magnified by ’90s alt-rockers Failure and the ‘Mats reissue, which the label says has been “mastered for vinyl from the original analog tapes.”

All Shook Down will be available in participating record stores Nov. 29 and via Org Music’s website.

The Replacements, of course, have reunited — well, Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson have — and will play the first of three Riot Fest headlining gigs this Sunday in Toronto.

  1. Man, the ‘Mats are getting new kinds of love by the day! Much deserved. Bring on the box set and some live stuff, like “The Shit Hits the Fans-Deluxe Edition”! :0
