Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, circa 2012

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will return to North America next summer for a second round of dates in support of the band’s current album Push the Sky Away, a just-announced trek that runs from June 16 through July 31 and will bring the group to 15 cities across the United States plus four more in Canada.

Tickets for the tour, which follows a sold-out run of shows earlier this year, go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. Friday via nickcave.com.

Fans, though, can register at altweeklies.com to gain access to a 24-hour presale that begins 10 a.m. EST Tuesday; along with the pre-sale, fans also will be able to download “The Mercy Seat” and “Mermaids” off the band’s forthcoming Live at KCRW album.

A second 24-hour pre-sale, including VIP packages, is set for 10 a.m. local time Nov. 20 via nickcave.com using the password KCRW.

  1. I am glad to hear they will be doing a show in Mychigan :)

  2. What’s up with the Nick Cave VIP presale? Can’t get tickets – won’t highlight the “buy” button. Anybody else having a problem?
