Minor quibble with Suzanne Vega’s album: Tarock and tarocchi cards (the original Marseilles and Visconti decks – or the Wirth deck recently shown in the last Sherlock Holmes movie) were suited wands, batons, cups, and coins – not pentacles. Pentacles were not even a suit in the tarot, the precursor to contemporary cards for poker, etc., until at least the 20th Century. Just not-entirely-useless trivia that may enhance the listening pleasure of her new album. Thanks.
