Having just wrapped up their North American tour, the Pixies this morning took the opportunity to debut yet another new music video — this time for the song “Greens and Blues” off the band’s EP2 — and fleshed out its world tour with dates in South America, Europe and Japan — plus a lone U.S. appearance at a library in California, of all places.
Below, check out those dates, plus the Josh Frank-directed video, which features the usual Pixies weirdness, including a space lady emerging from the ocean.

EP2 is simply fantastic. I just wish they’d do a whole album now!
In iTunes I’ve combined EPs 1 & 2 and “Bagboy” into a single album. Nine songs, why not?
The video is just ‘meh’, but I love the song. Just wish Charles hadn’t compared it to Gigantic. There can be no comparison to that Pixies catalog classic, which has stood the test of time. Every Pixies show I’ve been to, Gigantic was the jam that got the entire audience in mad pogo mode.
Still… Great attempt at classic Pixies structure with Greens and Blues.
The Henry Miller Library isn’t really a library. It’s sort of more like a museum dedicated to him and is frequently used as an event space. It’s a gorgeous location in the woods. I’m definitely going to try to go to that.
