Morrissey to release remastered edition of 1994’s ‘Vauxhall and I’ in June

Morrissey, 'Vauxhall and I'

Morrissey will follow up his just-released reissue of 1992’s Your Arsenal with a new remastered edition of that album’s follow-up — Vauhxall and I, released exactly 20 years ago today — on June 2, the singer announced today via fansite True To You. The album is remastered by Bill Inglot, and will be released on CD an LP with “previously unused photographs.”

No word yet as to whether whether Morrissey will tinker with the tracklist and/or album art on the reissue, as he has been wont to do with previous re-releases of his solo work.

The former Smiths frontman is expected to release his next solo album, World Peace is None of Your Business, in either late June or early July, following his upcoming U.S. tour.

  1. My favorite Morrissey album.

  2. karaoke king

    Ditto. Absolute classic.

  3. This is my fav. Already sounds real good, hope its not remastered for ipods and track list screwed with.

  4. Hope he dips into it for a few songs on the upcoming tour.

  5. It may not be your favorite anymore after Moz tinkers with it. Let’s hope he can leave well enough alone.

  6. Becoming Bored With It....

ENOUGH ABOUT MORRISSEY!!! EITHER DEDICATE A NEWS SITE TO HIM OR MOVE ON!!!!!!! THE SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO IS OBNOXIOUS!!!!

    • If “Morrissey” weren’t the first word of the headline, you might have had a better argument as to why you weren’t able to skip this article.

  7. Yeah Viva Hate was butchered, as was Bona Drag and Kill Uncle to lesser degrees.

Hope the original album remains intact as it is his most perfect!

I just wish he would remaster the albums with original track listing and art work, any other songs should be bonus tracks…
