New Order releases ‘Music Complete: Remix EP’ ahead of U.S. performances

New Order today released a new five-track EP featuring remixes of songs off its latest album Music Complete, a digital release that comes ahead of the band’s appearances at the massive Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and a handful of U.S. concert dates this month.

The Music Complete: Remix EP — which can be bought or streamed through digital outlets such as Amazon and Spotify — includes four remixes that were previously commercially unavailable, plus a “Tutti Fruitti” remix by Takkyu Ishino that appeared on an exclusive Japanese 12-inch single.

New Order was set to perform tonight in Dubai before returning to the U.S. for five shows, followed by a special run of five Manchester dates backed by a 12-member synthesizer ensemble.

For those cavemen like me who want physical media, wonder if there will be a cd and vinyl release?

  2. When possible, I now download HD music files (FLAC, WAV) and have all but left physical music media behind. Sounds just as good and often better than CD. Love warm vinyl sound though…

  3. Not to be a stickler, but they will be playing at the Greek Theater in Berkeley; which is a great theater.

  4. Just purchased this today in FLAC from boomkat. If you chased after all of the remixes released so far from “Music Complete” – this one’s worth a try. I’m up to a total of 46 remixes, extended mixes, single edits, etc. for this album. NO have unseated Depeche Mode for the most remixes on a single album [probably not]. Now give me some b-sides please.

  5. my mix versions of academic and the game are available now, on my new album MAUERSTADT (www.mauerstadt.com). the cd version is slightly different to the dwld and vinyl versions. you can find links to buy the cd or pre-order the 2x vinyl version. hope you will like it. m
