BACKSTORY: The Crowded House frontman on Friday releases, digitally, his new solo album, which was recorded live on the internet just this past Friday. The CD edition is due out Sept. 22, with vinyl following in October.

RELEASE: Some Girls Wander By Mistake
BACKSTORY: Rhino this week releases a 4LP box set of the Sisters’ 1992 compilation, which finds that album spread over two records, and includes bonus 12-inches of “Temple of Love” and “Under the Gun.”

RELEASE:  Fiendology: A 35 Year Trip Through Fiendish History
BACKSTORY: Cherry Red releases a new 3-disc anthology that traces the goth pioneers’ 35-year history, including five previously unreleased tracks, two new songs and unissued mixes of “Now I’m Feeling Zombified” and “I Walk the Line.
