BACKSTORY: Dean Wareham’s band this week releases a 10-song covers album called A Sentimental Education (The Cure, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Mercury Rev) and a 6-song instrumental EP titled A Place of Greater Safety.

RELEASE: Out of Silence
BACKSTORY: The Crowded House frontman this week releases, in the U.K., the CD edition of his new solo album, which was recorded live on the internet earlier late last month. The U.S. CD release will follow on Sept. 29.
