OMD unveils 2018 North American tour in support of ‘The Punishment of Luxury’

When Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark announced their new album The Punishment of Luxury last spring, the group had a handful of U.S. summer dates on the books — but it wasn’t much of a tour. That all changes next spring, when OMD returns for a full 27-date North American trek.

OMD, which announced the tour today, will open the trek March 6 in Washington, D.C., and continue up the East Coast, and then out west, before circling back, wrapping up April 14 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In between, the band will hit the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver as well.

See full dates below, and head to OMD’s website for ticket info.

  1. Excellent! I have 3 locations to choose from here in Southern California. I may go to all three!

  2. Why the shitty terminal 5 again? Why pack us in like sardines again? So many other venues in NYC to play. Some have actual seats.

    • Fuck seats, we aren’t old yet. But Terminal 5 is the worst in NYC. I could go to Boston, but shit they are playing at the House of Blues. Whoever is booking these shows doesn’t actually go to shows.

  3. Please come to Montreal or Quebec City.
