As The Psychedelic Furs prepare to open a spring run of largely California dates this week, the band has expanded its 2018 plans, announcing they’ll follow a brief foray into Spain and the U.K. with more West Coast dates this summer at which they’ll be joined by L.A. punk legends X.
The current run of shows opens Friday in Scottsdale, Ariz., and features a headlining appearance at the Rhythm Wine and Brews Festival in Indio, Calif., as well as shows up and down the California coast. There’s also a one-off in Jersey City, N.J., before the Furs hit Europe for shows in Spain and the U.K.
That’s followed by a run of summer shows that opens July 17 in Tucson, Ariz., and includes five dates with X, including a concert in Costa Mesa, Calif., that also features The Fixx on the bill.
