  6. Greatest events in US history : 3. Walking on the moon, 2. American Revolution, & #1 : Last nights show. Wow ! Best show ever – thank you ! So many great songs ! And thanks for playing a couple of my requests (that Sisterhood EP was so underrated). OK, on to some suggestions for next week :

    New Order – The Him
    Cabaret Voltaire – Electro-Motive
And Also the Trees – The Secret Sea

And someday, I think it’d be perfect to hear David J’s “Nature Boy” as a closer to one of your shows.

Thanks again Matt, and enjoy your week.

  7. Great show tonight! Would love to hear The Sound – Unwritten Law

  8. Sinking Ships – “The Cinema Clock”

  9. Aphotic Empyrean

Good show because it wasn’t all about the songs we all know but the ones we need to refamilarize ourselves with (at least with me).

I second the request of Depeche Mode – More Than a Party.

  10. Mat Gillespie

Dead Can Dance- Frontier (lonely as an eyesore version)

    Thanks

  11. Great show. I had forgotten about Phillip Boa. Thanks very much for the reminder. For next week, maybe one of those from below? Please and thank you. Have a good one Sir.

Nine Inch Nails-The Only Time from Pretty Hate Machine
Trisomie 21-See the Devil in Me (Demo) from 25 Years
Gun Club-Stranger in Our Town from Las Vegas Story

  12. What a show! How about some more..
    Psychic TV – Dogstar

  13. Echo and the Bunnymen-A Promise

  14. Great show Matt! Thanks for playing The Stranglers.

Recently I rediscovered The Human League’s Travelogue as I was transferring my LPs to mp3 files.

How about “Crow and a Baby”?

  15. I know you like your covers, so how about trying this one on for size: ABBA’s “The Visitors”, as covered by Television Personalities on the “Happily Ever After” album.

  16. Great shows the past couple of weeks! Even though I have to be up at 500am for work on Monday, I still listen to the whole show. Thank you!

    My requests are:
Skinny Puppy: Smothered Hope, Testure, or Worlock
    Nitzer Ebb- Getting Closer
    Switchblade Symphony-Gutter Glitter
    Wumpscut- Wreath Of Barbs
    Front 242- Quite Unusual

    • Same here Heather ! But listening to the show Sunday nights is worth it – and I’ll sleep when I’m dead !

      • There used to be a time that I could go out, dance all night, get home at 500am, shower, be at work at 600am, work all day, and still stay up until that evening. Those days are long gone, but you’re right… listening to the show on Sunday is definitely worth the lack of sleep!

        • Ah, the good ol’ days … I bet a lot of us did that back in the day. BTW, nice requests. Your Skinny Puppy/Front 242 requests remind of of the time I saw Front 242 in Toronto at the old Nuts and Bolts in 1986 ? ’87 ? Anyway, Front 242 set up on the dance floor…there was no stage. They were face to face with all of us (and it was awesome !) and standing behind me was Skinny Puppy. That concert is still one of the coolest things I’ve ever witnessed in my life.

  17. THE THE – BEYOND LOVE
    MIND BOMB

  18. That is so awesome! I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing Front 242 live, but I have Skinny Puppy. To be so up close like that would be amazing!
