  1. Thanks for another great show. Always look forward to Sunday night.

    For next week:

Siouxsie and the Banshees – Overground
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry – Nothing Wrong
    The Smiths – Handsome Devil
Kraftwerk – Trans-Europe Express (fun fact – Joy Division played this song before every show to get them into the zone)

  2. Rick Parker

    Matt,
Great show. I have some more tracks for next week. Thanks as always.

Dead Can Dance – “Ullyses” (The Serpent’s Egg)
The Church – “Terra Nova Cain” (Gold Afternoon Fix)
Depeche Mode – “Rush” (Songs Of Faith and Devotion)
Gary Numan – “Metal” ( The Pleasure Principle)

  3. Love the show! Here’s two artists that are not known as Dark Wave artists, but have tracks that certainly fit the bill:

Tears For Fears – “Ideas As Opiates”
    Jon Astley – “Suffering Fools”

Not to mention a couple of personal favourites:

    Ministry – “Angel”
    Gene Loves Jezebel – “Scheming”

    Cheers!

  4. Aphotic Empyrean

Playlist looks great. I will listen to the show today at work.

  5. I feel like I’ve said this a few times, but really, last nights show was the best ever ! Thank you for playing my requests – even seems like you played some ones I’ve requested in the past. Also just an overall excellent mix of tunes plus “Surfin’ Dead” by the Cramps ? Been a LONG time since I’ve heard that classic – thanks for playing it. OK on to suggestions for next week :

Peter Murphy – I’ve Got A Miniature Secret Camera
    Meat Beat Manifesto – Placebo
Pink Turns Blue – Walking On Both Sides
New Order (Peel Sessions) – Too Late (or Turn the Heater On)

  6. Thanks so much for playing “Heartland” Matt! Early Sisters is best Sisters!

    Suggestions for next week’s show:
    The Cure – “Charlotte Sometimes”
    Grauzone – “Eisbaer”

    • Agreed on Sisters if Mercy…requested “Train” recently (success !)…their early stuff is the best. Gonna request “Burn” soon, but what I really want to hear is the b-side of 12″ single Body and Soul – the awesome, best version of “Body Electric”…so much better than the original on Some Girls Wander… (hint hint, Matt) ;)

  7. Thanks for the Birthdayest Birthday Party song. Yeah, that takes me back. Great show. Especially enjoyed the Tuxedo Moon track.

For next week, maybe Iron Curtain ‘Like A Family’ off Desertion. I’d second the request for Rush by Depeche Mode. Thanks again for doing this show

  8. Great show Matt! I listen on demand every Monday at work and it starts the week off right.

    Thanks for the Summerhead :)

Agree with the request for Rush by DM!

  9. “Atrocity Exhibition” – Joy Divison
“Lie To Me” – Depeche Mode
    “Homesick” – The Cure
    “Faded Flowers” – Shriekback

  10. Yet another bland ,boring and predictable show.

  11. Great show!

    I’d like to request:
    Kangaroo by This Mortal Coil.

    thanks!

    Smog-“Everything is Under Contol”
All 4 are great Aussie bands that I don’t recall hearing on your show before.
    Cheers mate!

  17. Hey Matt,

I think here might be an error with the Ultravox song in hour 3. It doesn’t match with what I’m hearing on Spotify. Can you please confirm, because it’s such a great track and I’d like to put it on my personal playlist.

Thanks so much and I’m looking forward to the next show and your response!
