RELEASE: In the Flat Field, Mask
BACKSTORY: The first two titles in the Bauhaus colored-vinyl reissue series arrive this week: a gold-vinyl pressing of the band’s 1980 debut In the Flat Field and its 1981 follow-up Mask. More titles arrive Nov. 23 and Dec. 7.

RELEASE:  It’ll End in Tears, Filigree & Shadow, Blood
BACKSTORY: The three albums released by the 4AD Records collective — led by label founder Ivo Watts-Russell — will be reissued this week Dec. 7 (delayed due to production issues) in deluxe CD and LP editions.

Skinny Puppy

RELEASE: Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse, Cleanse Fold and Manipulate
BACKSTORY: The second and third albums from the legendary industrial group Skinny Puppy — 1986’s Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse and 1987’s Cleanse Fold and Manipulate — are reissued this week in new vinyl pressings.

David Bowie

RELEASE: Heathen
BACKSTORY: David Bowie’s 22nd studio album, originally released in 2002, is reissued this week on limited-edition, 180-gram translucent gold audiophile vinyl. Includes the songs “Slow Burn,” “Slip Away” and more.
