  1. Awesome set list

I was contemplating writing in and making a request for “Christian Says” – it and “Go” I feel are Tones on Tail’s bestsongs and Christian is perfect for Darkwave
Well – you did it anyway, and as the closer. Awesome.

  2. ❤❤❤❤

  3. Thanks so much for playing my Executive Slacks request, Matt! Such a criminally underrated band!

Now, how about the perfect Skinny Puppy song for a Christmas-themed Dark Wave? I am talking about-of course-“Dead of Winter.”

  4. Nice mix this week; makes for a good Monday morning at the computer. Especially liked the Lucy Show, which IMAO is underplayed/appreciated. Here’s a few suggestions for next week, none of which I have heard you play before.

–James Ray & the Performance – “Mountain Voices” (1987)
    — Mkultra (aka Fad Gadget) – “Immobilise (Foot Binding Trot Mix)” (1987)
    — Frontline Assembly – “Concussion” (1988)
    — Area – “With Louise” or “I’ll Gather Flowers” (1988)

  5. For next week

    The Cure – Halo
    Joy Division – Failures
    Depeche Mode – Black Celebration
    The Cult – Narvana

  6. Got some festive requests for next Sunday:

    Kate Bush – Snowflake
    Big Star – Jesus Christ
Black Tape For A Blue Girl – Chanukkah, Oh Chanukkah

  7. Hello Matt, thanks for playing Ultraviolence. Is it too late to request something for Sunday night ? If not, then how about some more New Order – something like Mesh or Cries and Whispers.

    Thank you.

  8. James Gildea

    Love to hear:
    Push – The Cure
    Subway – Peter Murphy
Lucretia My Reflection – Sisters of Mercy
    She’s In Parties – Bauhaus

    Thank you
