Can you play something from Vociferous Mutes !!
Also Parade In Paris (Tampa Band). I have a tape if you need it.

    Thank You So Much !!

  7. Tremendous stuff last night!

Here’s a couple suggestions for possible future plays –

    New Order – Mesh
    RevCo – You Often Forget

    Thanks as always!

  8. 2nd : Down in the Park
    2nd : Dirty Disco
Add: …..Pink Dots – Day at the Dreamies

  9. Great show on Sunday. Loved the Shriekback. Oil and Gold is amazing.

Next week would be great if we could hear something from TKK like “And this is what the devil does” or “Kooler than Jesus”
Some Greater than One like I Don’t Need God would be great also.

    • Oil and Gold was one of those albums that help define my college years.

I’d go back to my dorm room after morning class, check my mail, then head back to my room where I’d wait out the lunch line in the cafeteria (which was right next door to my dorm) by playing an album from to back. Oil and Gold was one of them.

  10. Yay-Until December and Invincible Limit – rare finds!
My wish for next week: Kissing the Pink: Certain Things are likely

  11. Awesome show as always, Matt!

    “Snake Dance” -The March Violets
“Song to the Siren” -This Mortal Coil
“Agonised by Love” -Clan of Xymox

  12. Bob (Boris)

    Great show Matt!

How about Girl, Come Out by Skin? Thanks!

  13. Thanks for the Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. It made my day.

Also thanks for another great show. Looking forward to next week

  14. Great choice to play “Leaders of Men!” Takes me back to when I bought JD – Substance at Tape World in Monroeville Mall, Pittsburgh, way back in 1988.

    Suggestions for this week:
    Joy Division – 24 Hours
    Sisters of Mercy – Marian

  15. Matt – if you’re ever interested in an uptempo cover of New Order’s “Temptation,” check out the one by The Affordable Floors. Available on Spotify in their album “All The Things I Meant To Be.”

It might be a bit too pop for Dark Wave, but you never know. Theme week? Cover versions of Dark Wave bands?

  16. David Byrne turned 67 and Brian Eno turned 71 a day apart this week. How about something from their phenomenal 1979 collaberation – My Life in the Bush of Ghosts? Maybe “America is Waiting” – thanks!

  17. I could play these shows back to back and would never need anything else, ever again!

  18. This week’s show was exceptional. Just finished listening in Paris from Versailles while on the honeymoon. Glad we could take you with us on the SiriusXM app and not miss a week without the darker side of classic alternative!
