Erasure will reissue their fifth studio album, 1991’s Chorus, in an expanded three-disc edition on Valentine’s Day, supplementing a remastered version of the original with two discs of new and classic remixes, B-sides, bonus tracks and a full live version of the album.
The reissue is due out Feb. 14 via BMG and the first 2,000 people to pre-order the set through the band’s webstore will also receive a bonus pack of four Chorus postcards.
Released on Oct. 14, 1991, Chorus was the Andy Bell and Vince Clarke’s third straight No. 1 album in the U.K. and generated four U.K. top 20 hits via the singles “Chorus,” “Love to Hate You,” “Am I Right?” and “Breath of Life.” “Love to Hate You” also was a modern-rock hit in the U.S.

A definite buy. I always thought the original released left so much to be desired for sound quality. Hoping this release gives us a much better quality sound.
