Robert Smith is auctioning off an autographed, hand-made shirt he wore on The Cure’s Prayer Tour in 1989 in support of Disintegration and again earlier this year when the band performed that album in full on each of five nights at the Vivid Festival in Sydney, Australia.

“I had five of these shirts made in 1989 for The Cure Prayer Tour, and wore them at every show… I dug them out, had the tails shortened by a couple of inches(!) and wore them again for the SOH Vivid Festival Disintegration shows earlier this year,” Smith wrote on Facebook.

After those 2019 concerts, Smith autographed the cuff on one of the shifts, and it now will be auctioned Dec. 17 to benefit Oxfam, a charity fighting global poverty.

It’s expected to sell in the $780 to $1,000 range, according to the auction site.
