  4. Excellent show. Many thanks from Folk Devils!

  5. Thanks for the David J!

How about Clint by Sad Lovers and Giants which a Smiths-like blend of happy beat and gloomy lyrics (how we use to dance away our angst back in the day)

  6. All-time DW show, Matt! Really dug the mix of the tunes each hour.

Here are a couple requests for a DW in the near future –

The Smiths – What Difference Does It Make? (The Peel Sessions version)
    Sort Sol – Marble Station

    Thanks as always!

  7. Thanks for playing my request Matt!
    Great playlist xxx

  8. Excellent show Matt. Always enjoy Japan, and David Sylvan, can u play something off Blue Nile, Hats sometime? Really one of my favorite dark bands. Thanks A faithful fan!

  9. Hi Matt, thanks for playing my request for Japan. I know that Rush was not really a Dark Wave style band, but I’m pretty sure they were an influence to some Dark Wave style artists. Can you maybe play something in honor of the passing of Neil Peart? The song Subdivisions from the 1982 album Signals may be a good track for Dark Wave.

  10. Cutting episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The Final Cut, “Primal Understanding”

    Request for future show:
Nine Inch Nails, “Me, I’m Not”

  11. I am off Monday so I can listen to most of the show. Anyway around the 2nd hour you can throw in
Swans: The Golden Boy That Was Swallowed by the Sea?
Its one of my fall time favorites.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

  12. Hadn’t gotten to the second half of the show yet, but Hour 1 was awesome on a stick. Thanks.
