Greetings from Northern AB. Canada. I am a 45yr old Metal Head, death and thrash metal. Anywho grew up in the 80’s, didn’t have access to anything but CBC lol I came to the realization that dark wave is the missing link in my musical life journey. I like the dark style of writings and post punk goth sounds that are haunting. Whenever I get the chance to drive on Sunday evening I tune it to first wave. Nostalgic and reverence is what drives my drives on several levels of my consciousness. Thanks again Matt, I know it’s too late for requests but old ministry or revolting cocks. Specific songs and artist would be Heartland Sisters of Mercy for Mike in Fort Chip

  24. Thanks for the Skinny Puppy, but I really dug the Section 25! Maybe for a future show how about “She Destroys” from Final Cut – very reminiscent of “Looking from a Hilltop.”

  25. Amazing show!! I’d love to hear the following on upcoming shows:

Pink Turns Turns Blue – Master Is Calling
The Tear Garden – Love Notes & Carnations
    Borghesia – Am I?
    For Against – Amen Yves
