  1. Can you dig up “Burning Bridge” by Kate Bush for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

P.S., thanx for playing the Church’s “Metropolis”!

  2. Matt loved hearing Perish from Curve tonight. Disappointed that the edited version of Elegia was played. I know the full version is over 17 minutes but the edited version does it no justice. Does SiriusXM/Liberty Media limit the lengths of songs played? Hope not. That’s so FM radio like. Thanks for a great show as always.

    • I’ve played the 17-minute version before — they let me play whatever I want, regardless of length or lyrical content — I just chose not to in this case because that would mean 2 or 3 fewer songs I could fit into the show.

  3. Tonight’s show was so good!!! Thank you for playing Danse Society!!! Maybe next week play Dominion/Mother Russia by Sisters of Mercy?

  4. Char, the Costume Shop Goddess

Loved the show tonight, especially the Sisters of Mercy track ❤️

Would love to hear Peter Murphy/You’re so Close next week.

    Thanks so much!

  5. I’d like to request Depeche Mode “Sea of Sin” for next week’s show – thanks

  6. Samhain let the day begin please

  7. The Front 242/Die Warzau/Nitzer Ebb run was the sweet spot for me this go ’round! Thanks, Matt!

  8. You are so appreciated Matt! Never Stop!!
    A request, Morrissey – I Know It’s Gonna Happen
    Someday.
    Or anything from Your Arsenal.

Always good to hear “Soon” by My Bloody Valentine. Same goes for “Sight of You” by Pale Saints.

  13. I fancy a Lush song Sweetness and Light or a vintage Strawberry Switchblade Let Her Go.

  14. Very great show! Any chance of playing Temple of Exotica by Debbie Juvenile?

  25. Hey Matt, great show this weekend!

Girls Under Glass – “Ten Million Dollars”

  26. Great set list from Sunday. Count me as a 3rd request for Kyoto Song by The Cure.

    Thanks!

  27. Hard to pick a favorite this time. Loved the opener, Out of the Ordinary, Rose of Avalanche…I just liked the whole thing.

    Maybe next time:

    “Roman P” by Psychic TV
    “Tugboat” by Galaxie 500
“Love Goes On” by The Go-Betweeens

    Thanks. Have a good week.

    • Peth McBride

I love, and I mean LOVE, the Go-Betweens. But on Dark Wave? Makes no sense at all.

      • He’s played Strange Advance, Orange Juice, Can, The Church, Kate Bush, and Q Lazarus, all of whom don’t necessarily fit the ‘dark’ tag either. It’s a great song that isn’t going to get played anywhere else probably.

What’s the harm in asking? Even if he doesn’t play it, maybe someone will download it and give it a listen just by my throwing it out there. I enjoy sharing music I like, so it’s mission accomplished either way.

        • I totally agree. I research unfamiliar songs based on these requests to see what I might have missed over the last 40 years.

  28. Hi Matt, can you play the haunting “The Eternal” by Joy Division. I almost can’t listen to it. So melancholy. Beautiful and chilling. Thanks either way. Rob

  29. David Watson

I’d love to hear I am the Fly by Wire on an upcoming episode. Dark Wave is the best three hours of my week!

  30. Impeccable, simply impeccable! I’m blown away that you played Agent Orange…thank you!

    Some future requests:

TSOL – Colours (Take Me Away)
And Also The Trees – Gone…Like The Swallows
    The Chameleons – Nostalgia
    Cranes – Lilies
    Recoil – Luscious Apparatus
