  2. Can you PLZ dig up “Sick For Toys” by Björk/Sugarcubes for next Sunday’s “Dark Wave”? Thanx!

  3. How’bout some early Jane’s Addiction like “1%”! Or if you can find it in the vaults, “Suffer Some”–the original on Cabinet, not the Strays version.

One or more of these would be great!

  8. A thought for a future broadcast… Since we have been without live shows for just about a year, what do you think about a Darkwave consisting entirely of live versions of songs?

  9. Would love to hear Mighty Lemon Drops, “Where Do We Go From Heaven”. That would be sublime.

  10. Requesting Everything you Do by The Mighty Lemmon Drops and some Love and Rockets, Dog End of a Day Gone by

    Thanx!

  18. Matt, while I am a big Depeche Mode fan, I had never realized just how great the complete Ultra album is until you mentioned it on a past show. After revisiting it for hours, it is now in my top five albums of all time by any group. Do you have any other underrated albums by any dark wave artists we should give a more thorough listen? And, please play:

    Killing Joke – Seeing Red

    Thanks much.

  19. Hi Matt,

Matt, I appreciate this show so much!
Thank you Matt for ‘When I Bed’.

Would you consider ‘Real Men’ by The Jazz Butcher.

Your shows are so great, so important. Never Stop!

  26. First hour was fantastic!

Looking forward to this week’s show!

  27. Thank you for playing my requests! Awesome show this week. That live version of Blasphemous Rumours is absolute perfection.

  28. Dark-Mood Music Guru Matt, I was listening to the replay and when it got to All Glory by Southern Death Cult, something in the rhythm was nagging at me as familiar. Then it hit me: it sounds like The Cure’s Icing Sugar. Now I’ve got an ear worm.

Can you play Icing Sugar (New Mix) off of the Catch single?

PS – Loved hearing Holiday in Cambodia! I happened to catch Primus cover that song on 12/29/2018 in L.A.. I don’t have any aspirations that you could find that, but if you did and play it, you’d be upgraded from Guru to Messiah.

  29. Amazing job as always and thank you for The Church. I’d love to heard the following in the future:

Colin Newman – Order For Order
The Bolshoi – Books on the Bonfire
    Moev – Ophelia
Kissing the Pink – Certain Things Are Likely

  30. Tatiana Allen

Matt, you are the only reason we subscribe to Sirius. The 2/21 show is our FAVORITE so far, my husband said you were on FIRE!! You always have more than a few surprises for these jaded old Goths, and it’s really hard to surprise us. Love, the Allens in Minneapolis.
