  1. Can you dig up “Total Eclipse” by Klaus Nomi for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

  2. Absolute knock out show last night. I felt like you were playing it just for me, so many favorites on there. And they are lucky to get you for three whole hours a week, I’d pay double for six. Could we possibly hear:

    Skinny Puppy- Glasshouses

    Please and thank you.

Also, thank you for the Revco. You can call me anything you like as long as you keep serving up this weekly communion of awesome. Heart, “Diane” :)

  8. Hey Matt! Incredible show (as always)….do you think you can play “Hee-Haw” from Alien Sex Fiend next Sunday? Thanks!

  9. Hello Matt, another great show. This is a shot in the dark as I don’t think the song is available anywhere unless you were a member of their fan club, but is there any chance you have and can play Christmas Griping by REM? I think the Dark Wave audience would appreciate the sentiment of it, even around August. If you don’t have it, maybe I Shouldn’t Have Given Him a Gun for Christmas by Wall of Voodoo. Thanks much,

    Adam

  10. Thanks so much for the Munich. Another great show. Hour 3 killed it for me.

Keep up the good work. Have a great week.

  11. Matt- Night Shift was over the top in my world. Agree with above about hour 3. Looking to hear Sounds of Laughter by TSOL. Have a great week.

  12. Matt, do you think you could fit in Pink Industry’s “Enjoy the Pain” somewhere for next week’s show? Thanks!

  13. I’d like to request David Bowie – “Dead Man Walking” from his fantastic late 90s album “Earthling”. Thank you

  14. Great as always, thanks for the show!

The industrial block was so on point.

How about Crunch-ø-Matic’s AntiPlastik or something else off of Caution Do Not Play for a future ep?

  15. Thank you for my mood music while I work during the week (on replay).
I’d love to hear “The Devil is My Friend” by The Jazz Butcher if it fits.

  16. From 1972, but certainly a Dark Wave sound. Could you play Vitamin C from the very influential band named CAN.

  17. Hi, Matt – Another great show!
I always look forward to listening every week.
Since next Sunday will be Matt Johnson’s birthday, I would so appreciate it if you’d play Slow Emotion Replay by The The during the next installment of Dark Wave. He is so brilliant and loved.
    Thank you so much! :)

  18. Please play “Fear of Ghosts” by The Cure
…. a rare and brilliant Roger O’Donnell composition made totally Cure by Robert’s lyrics and voice

  20. The title of the song from that Ministry album is “Burning Inside”. I think you may be confusing it with the title of a Bauhaus album.

Is this upcoming week going to be the show where you’re brave enough to bust out the “Kaw-Liga (Prairie Mix)” by The Residents?

  21. Burning episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The Cure, “Burn”

This week’s The Dark Backward Award:
And the Native Hipsters, “There Goes Concorde Again”

    Request for future show:
    Jane’s Addiction, “Summertime Rolls”

  22. Hello Matt and thank you for the Strawberry Switchblade track. I enjoyed hearing Siouxsie, Bauhaus and the Bunnymen. If you have room for Cocteau Twins Carolyn’s Fingers would be brilliant.

  23. Love the show Matt, never miss a show!

    Requesting :
    Cracking Up
The Jesus and the Mary Chain

  24. Thank you for the Ministry set!

  25. Oops, I missed the request deadline. I’d love a live version of JAMC Reverence. 8/16 is my birthday and I’m stranded at home after breaking my foot Saturday.

  26. Can you please play PIL’s Fodderstompf?
Can’t go wrong with Wobble & Rotten!

  27. Beatnik Punk

“Slice of life” always feels more like a pre-Tones on Tail or Love and Rockets tune.

  28. Thanks for playing my request this past weekend. Have a good week.

  29. Enjoyed the deep cuts! Looking forward to this week’s show!

  30. Yet another amazing show! I love being delighted by the playlists every week. Untouchable!!
