  1. Can you dig up “Coffee Homeground” by Kate Bush for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

  2. I’m back! Great show tonight. Loved hearing Joy Division’s Kokamino and Echo And The Bunnymen playing Run Run Run.
Wondering if you could play Mad Jack by The Chameleons or Procession by New Order next week? Thanks so much!

  3. The Ministry, Sister’s, and Nitzer Ebb tracks you played? All just great classic bangers. Thank you for the Skinny Puppy. Been obsessed with Wax Trax! albums this past week so, with much internal debate I have settled on:

    PTP-Rubber Glove Seduction

    Please and thank you.

  4. Great show!

  5. Wynn Newberry

Have you played My Heart is Empty by Nico in the program?

  6. Matt Enjoyed the surprises in the show. I rank Hour 2 best, hour 1 then hour 3. I’d like to hear Vaguely Human by Flesh for Lulu.

  9. Matt I got a request for next weekend’s show.
Echo and The Bunnymen ‘With A Hip.’

  10. Long shot here, but an old local NJ band, Sweet Convulsions. Anything by them, if you have it, would be awesome!

  11. Good stuff!

Here are some DW requests –

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry – Hand on Heart
    Lush – Leaves Me Cold

    Thanks!

  12. The late guitarist John McGeoch shaped the sounds of Magazine, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Visage, Peter Murphy, Gen X, The Skids, Armoury Show, and P.I.L. He was born on August 25th, and we should all bake a cake for this influential Scot. Magazine’s-‘Shot By Both Sides’, S and the B’s – ‘Spellbound’, Armoury Show’s ‘Castles in Spain’, or PIL’S ‘U.S.L.S. 1’ are all suggestions.

  13. It would be nice to hear s dark track from the police called ‘invisible sun’ cool track dark song awesome echo and the bunnymen covering the velvet underground’s ‘go go go’
    THANKS MATT !

  14. Scratch

You are so right! He was one of my favorites he sadly passed away in 2004

  15. As always, Matt, last night’s show was amazing and I’m really enjoying listening to it on repeat via the app. If you have time in an upcoming show, I have a couple of more obscure requests:

    Psyche – The Crawler
Glorious Din – Pallet to the Floor

Thank you for always keeping it dark!

  16. Hi Matt, the show rocked last night! Thank you for playing my ASF request it’s always appreciated. For my first weekend at college I would be happy to hear one of these:
    Panzer Ruin- Current 93
    Jigsawmentallama- Virgin Prunes

  17. I’d love to hear Jasmine and Rose by Clan of Xymox. The best show on SiriusXM by far. Keep it up!

  18. Thx 4 Rosetta Stone and Sheep On Drugs, both criminally under rated af.!

  19. Loved that Big Black cover of “The Model”. You always dig up something new for me to enjoy so thank you. After a while of not leaving suggestions/requests, I’ve got some for your consideration.

    The Robots – Kraftwerk
    Hammer Horror – Kate Bush
    Eloise – the Damned
    The American – Simple Minds

  20. Thanks for playing Fodderstompf for me Matt! I bought the album when it came out at Wax Trax in Chicago. Great times hanging out there!

  21. My ex-husband, Kelly, recently died in a heartbreaking way. He was a big fan of darkwave and introduced me to so many new bands and songs. In his memory, I offer a few suggestions of songs he loved. (Thanks!)

    Marian-Sisters of Mercy
    Tears-Chameleons
All In My Mind-Love & Rockets
    Always the Sun-Stranglers
    Happy Nightmare Baby-Opal
    Muscoviet Mosquito-Clan of Xymox

  22. This show is always excellent – can you keep playing deep cuts by The Smiths or Morrissey each week? I’ve found a bunch of great ones this way, so thank you.

  23. Darkwave master

You know what a good idea would be is to have an extended show for multiple hours more than 4 hours designated to darkwave Goth postpunk industrial shoegaze and more of all the darkwave artists you can come up with on the spot but for now the 3 hours is just good enough and i would love to hear “Man in a suitcase” By Tackhead off of there ‘87 album sound system thanks for your time.

  24. Been listening for several weeks. This is my shit!
Love to request Manufacture ft Sarah MacLachlan- as the world ends. Great classic dark wave track I’d love all Dark Wavers to hear.
    Also, any PWEI.
    thanks!

  25. Dark Wave has been removed from the Sirius app!! Went on this morning, to listen to last Sunday’s show (usually the last two eps are on there) and it was gone from my favorites. I freaked out after searching for it, it doesn’t even come up in the search, or in the “related shows” for First Wave ch. I made it completely clear to customer service when I signed up a couple of months ago (I have been listening for yrs w/my husband’s account but got a new car this yr) that I was only paying for Sirius because there was ONLY ONE show worth listening to on this service. I’m only paying for Dark Wave and they took it away??? Listening to “80s Deep Cuts” was bearable this morning, but I definitely can’t be subjected to Richard Blade’s repetitive re-runs. I’m complaining to SiriusXM, too, but wanted you to be aware that it has been removed and doesn’t even come up in a search.

If your show is still on Sunday night, can you please play Fingerfoc by Friends of Carlotta? I remember trying to find that vinyl forever after they use to play it in the after hours club. Never found it and had forgotten about it until I heard you play it one time and just about died. It was like finding out an extinct animal is still around.

  26. I just spent a half hour arguing with someone in India regarding the removal of Dark Wave from the app. I wish I could post a screenshot of the chat! They told me that the show has changed time slots and is now tomorrow at 7am and Mondays at 7am and 9am, for 2hrs. I corrected them and said it was tomorrow night, for 3hrs. They then suggested that I could listen to Saturday Night Safety Dance. I told them that they better fix this or I was cancelling because the rest of their content was annoying noise as far as I was concerned. They supposedly “refreshed” the signal and I was supposed to log out and back in… but didn’t work. Hopefully, they have put in a ticket higher up for this to be remedied.

    • Hmmm. Not sure what’s going on there, but the time slot for “Dark Wave” has not changed, and when I search for it on my app, I find it immediately and it has the most recent two episodes, as it should.

  27. Could you play “people that died” by the jim caroll band good post punk track . Good songs as always jjjjjjjjjj
