Front 242, Nitzer Ebb to headline 10th edition of Chicago’s Cold Waves festival

Chicago’s industrial-themed Cold Waves festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary this September with a three-day event headlined by Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb, and featuring Covenant, The Cocks, Drab Majesty, Portion Control, The KVB, Actors and more.

The festival is set to announce the event lineup on March 1, followed by tickets going on sale March 4.

Watch coldwaves.net for full details.

The Cold Waves festival was founded in 2012 as “a celebration of Chicago’s relationship with industrial music” following the death of sound engineer and musician Jamie Duffy, which, organizers say, “had a profound effect on the electronic and metal music families he meant so much to.”

  1. I’m going to get to see Front 242 in Montreal, but with different support. Looking forward to that one, but Cold Waves has a great line up. I love Kite

I work at Skully’s in Columbus and I’m sending good thoughts for a quick recovery. Was looking forward to Front 242 tomorrow. Guess I’ll just have to head to Chicago for Cold Waves.
