  1. Can you dig up “Painted Bird” by Siouxsie + the Banshees for next Sunday’s Dark Wave? Thanx!

  2. Great show tonight! Goodnight!

  3. Hour 3 again Matt. Have a good week all.

  4. Let’s do “Blues From A Gun” by The Jesus & Mary Chain

  5. Thanks for the Monochrome set. Love that song.

Hard to chose an hour this week. Great selections from Bolshoi, Eleven Pond, and PTP. That tribute cut for Mark Lanegan was pretty on point too. Very nice one. Also appreciated the CCCP with everything going on.

Would like to request some Ausgang please. Maybe “Your Role is to Tease as You Roll in the Lens” or “Hunt Ya Down”.

Thanks again for the great show. It helps start my week off right. Have a great one.

  6. How about “Petals” by Gary Numan?
    https://youtu.be/vIKzS-nrDJ0

  7. Thank you for Ophelia

    Love Edward Ka-Spel‘s Voice

  8. Perhaps something by Boyd Rice/NON? (Total War comes to mind, but seems portentous currently.) He does live in Denver, after all (Tiki Boyd’s, anyone?) Plus he used to contribute to legendary Denver based publication Modern Drunkard Magazine.

  9. Love & Rockets…….two weeks in a row.
I just can’t get enough of your show Matt…..THANK YOU!

  10. Incredible show, Matt! But those first two hours, were really something special!

Was wondering if you could play “Heretic’s Fork” by Spahn Ranch sometime.

  11. You gave me both The Chameleons (requested) and The Bolshoi (not requested THIS time, but in the past). I will give you a break from my neediness, but know that I just got SiriusXM recently, and your show has been the best discovery!

  12. The walk- The cure “standing on a beach album”
    Warsaw- The Leaders of men

  13. My dark Sundays are resplendent with your Dark Wave show. How about next week with The Killing Jokes’ “KINGS & QUEENS” and maybe using it as an hour opener? Two requests in one.

  14. New Model Army – Someone Like Jesus

  15. Great way to start off March.

    Here are some requests –

The Birthday Party – Nick the Stripper
    Snowy Red – Sinkin’ Down

    Thanks!

  16. Was so delighted to hear Japan so early in the show, as well as my Simple Minds request in hour two. Was not expecting to hear Iggy Pop either which was a real treat. Thanks Matt for always delivering stellar shows week in and week out. Hope you have a great week!

  17. Woody Bergman

You, sir, are killing, as always!

  18. Loved your show as always. Would you consider playing A Strange Day – The Cure
Dressed In Black – Depeche Mode
    Thank you for your consideration

  19. Another super awesome show Matt!!! With everything happening in the world I feel compelled to ask for some major kick-assery in the way of suggestions for next week:

Dead Kennedys – California Uber Alles
The Cramps – Bikini Girls With Machine Guns

    Thanks as always!!

  20. Great SHow!!! Thank you for playing Exploding Boy :D.
    Heres some requested songs.
1st Tower of Strength by the Mission
2nd Harold and Joe by the Cure

  21. Can I hear the likes of the band Psychic T.V I know this isn’t a very Darkwave song but it’s still good “Good Vibrations “-Psychic T.V
If I can that would be fantastic

  22. Great show Matt. How bout some pink turns blue? Maybe I coldly stare out?? Haven’t heard it in a while All time favorite. Thanks

  23. Awesome as always! I would like to request “Bury Me Deep” by Sisters of Mercy.

  24. I take it back – I do have a request.

“Red Army Blues” by The Waterboys.

  25. Great show.

Would love to hear mid-80s music from The fall. L.A. or C.R.E.E.P.

  26. Matt your show makes Sunday nights best 3 hours of my week! Would you dust off Made For TV “I’m Afraid of the Russians” if it’s still available, thanks

  27. Great show Matt! I like that you got in some Tear Garden. I also love Legendary Pick Dots if that makes it through your playlist. Here’s a little Dark Wave gold for next weeks request,

Chris and Cosey – Deep Velvet

    Thanks

  28. One of the saddest Cure songs , if I could request it
    “The Drowning Man”

    Constantine

  29. Galaxie 500’s cover of Submission?
Or Dead Can Dance’s cover of I Am Stretched On Your Grave?

  30. I felt like there was a slight anti fascist theme to the show, but maybe that’s just how this genre of music hits in general. I appreciate the Misfits request from a bit back.

I’d like to make a different request:

Komu Vnyz- 14th track from “In Kastus” (can’t type in Cyrillic)

If that’s too nutty, I understand and thank you as always.

    • actually, after actually looking into the band, disregard. Garbage humans that sound fun when you dont speak the language. Carry on.

  31. I 2nd Phillip 100%! The last time I heard “Ophelia” by the Tear Garden was probably 1998 or 99, before my non defuct local S. FL goth club went totally EBM. It drove me batshiit when it’d randomly pop in my head, and I just couldn’t even start to describe it to see if anyone else knew whatbit was! Also Matt, thanks for the help in trying to find “Falling” by Athamay!

  32. Oh what a great episode!

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    The Tear Garden, “Ophelia”

  33. Lords’ song is just as ominous today, as it was then.

  34. Victor Vizcarra

Please play Echo and the Bunnymen “Never Stop” LIVE version in London which was also made an MTV video of. Thank you!
    Victor Vizcarra
    Lincoln Heights California

  35. Sebastien Cayer

The Cramps – Goo Goo Muck. Something from 45 graves like Partytime
