  1. Great show tonight! Thank you for new order tonight, Matt!

  2. Can you dig up the radio mix version of “White Love” by One Dove for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

  3. That first hour was great. The Live Skull, Modern English, and Concrete Blonde just put it over the top. Hour 1 for the win, though they were all great sets.

Throwing this one out there, as I found they released Doctor Death’s collections at some point in time. Rash of Stabbing’s “Faulter” is on Volume 1. If you would consider it for a future episode, would be appreciated.

Thanks for the great music. Have a good one.

  4. Is Everything Real – The Frozen Autumn
    Sinking – The Cure
A Day – Clan of Xymox
Wait for Nothing – The Frozen Autumn
Sin In My Heart – Siouxsie & The Banshees
Dusk Is Like a Dagger – The Frozen Autumn
    M – The Cure

  5. The Frozen Autumn:
    Dusk Is Like a Dagger
    Wait for Nothing
    Is Everything Real?

    Clan of Xymox:
    A Day

    The Cure:
    Sinking
    M

    Siouxsie & The Banshees:
    Sin In My Heart

  6. Loved the alternate version of Echo’s The Game tonight. Always great to hear The Lords.

My suggestion. Something from The Nuns. “Suicide Child” or ‘Walking The Beat” are their darker cuts.

  7. Thank you for Interferon

Cassandra Complex would be great > „(in Search of) Penny Century“

  8. What’s up with starting the show well before 10 pm EST the last month or so?

  9. Concrete Blonde – Still in Hollywood

  10. Thank you for playing my birthday request! Always look forward to Sunday nights!

  11. Thanks for playing The Wake for me.

How about Looking from a Hilltop from Section 25 next week?

I always look forward to Sunday nights!

  12. Loved the Trisomie 21 play. There’s a very cool nightclub video from the old days of that song out on YouTube.

  13. Great show! (As always)

    Recoil – Bloodline
Skinny Puppy – Solvent (Remission EP)

  14. Killer playlist!

A couple for you to choose from, please?

    Mission “Wasteland”
The The “Sweet Bird of Truth”
    The Cure “The Blood”
Stranglers “The European Female” (In celebration of)
    World Party “All Come True”

    That’s all I got.

Always look forward to your show!

    Thank you Matt.

  15. Hi Matt! Another great installment in the books – where does the time go??!! The first hour was brilliant…love that Mission song and thanks for the J&MC!! ◉‿◉. Anyway……some possible suggestions for next time:

Depeche Mode – Lie To Me
    Jane’s Addiction – Classic Girl
    Sonic Youth – Sunday

  16. Haunted when the minutes drag

    Summmertime rolls. Nicely done.

  17. Enjoyed the show!

    Here are some requests –

    Executive Slacks – Our Lady
    Wipers – The Chill Remains

I will also mention that the show seems to be starting ten minutes early?

    Thanks!

  18. Penetration – Don’t Dictate

  19. In the spirit of that lovely Alien Sex Fiend song, let’s go for another! How about E.S.T. (trip to the moon)? Can’t Stop Smoking would also be fun.

I just saw Tea Party this weekend. They are so good live. Could you please play The Grand Bizarre (the version off the Alhambra EP)? Inanna (off the same EP) would be good also. While they didn’t play it live, the video they released covering Joy Division’s Isolation during CoVid was perfection.

  20. Loved hearing Modern English this week, but Someone’s Calling got me thinking that I don’t think I’ve heard you play Life in the Gladhouse before. Can you play that one sometime soon?

  21. The Carny – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
In A Lonely Place – New Order
    Atmosphere – Joy Division
    Do Right – Cabaret Voltaire

  22. Jagger Mabry

Thanks for mentioning and giving me a shoutout on dark wave

  23. Jagger Mabry

    Song Request

    Ministry – World

  24. Since we are about a month out for the 32 year anniversary of the movie “Pump Up the Volume” on August 22, maybe you could do a tribute to that on August 21, which happens to be the night before the anniversary. Nothing special but a kickass soundtrack that has a lot of “Dark Wave” sounding music on it.

  25. Great show. A request for Psychic TV – I.C. Water. Thanks!

  26. Great show, I love that Depeche Mode remix.
    Could you play next week
    Bauhaus-Who Killed Mr. Moonlight
    Thanks

  27. Eric DeRoos

    Another great show!

    Could you play…
    The Psychedelic Furs “Aeroplane”
    or
    Clan of Xymox “7th Time”

  28. Requesting
    Glen Meadmore “Do Me”
The version from the Psychic TV Ultrahouse compilation.

  29. Hey Matt! Been maybe a year since I requested anything but have been faithfully listening to some of the best 3 hours on radio! (make it 4 please! – Rodney gets 4 hours from Little Stephen should I give Richard Blade a call? ;))

Next week would be wonderful to hear the Peter Murphy Trent Reznor version of Warm Letherette or the 1000 Homo DJs cover of the Sabbath tune is it Sabotage I don’t remember. Thanks!

  30. Summery episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Jane’s Addiction, “Summertime Rolls”

“I mean it’s serious, as serious can be”

  31. Great show as always. My fave 3 hrs on First Wave!
I second the request for Recoil: Edge To Life
Curve : Cherry off of Pubic Fruit
Sad Lovers And Giants: Lost In a Moment
    Meat Beat Manifesto: Psyche Out
    Front 242: Tyranny For You
    For future shows.
Look forward to another great Sunday night of darkwave.
    Thanks Matt.
