As part of their Kickstarter campaign to raise $75,000, the makers of the documentary “Beautiful Noise” have released footage of their interview with The Cure’s Robert Smith in which he discusses his love of the Cocteau Twins and how that band’s 1984 album Treasure helped prepare him for his wedding.

The Primitives mark the end of a busy year for the reunited indie-pop act with a brand-new holiday song called “You Trashed Me Christmas,” which can be found on their label’s just-released compilation ‘A Christmas Gift For You From Elefant Records’ — and now you can see the band’s music video for the track.

U.K. post-punk legends Wire today announced the release of their fourth post-reunion album and 13th overall, a 13-track collection called ‘Change Becomes Us’ that is due out next March and “began as an exploration of unrecorded material originally written in 1979-80,” according to an e-mail the band sent to fans.

Reprising a show staged earlier this year in New York City, German electronic collective Kraftwerk will bring its ground-breaking 3-D multimedia presentation “Kraftwerk – Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8” to London’s Tate Modern museum, performing each of its eight albums in its entirety across nine nights in February.

Talking Heads spinoff Tom Tom Club — husband-and-wife rhythm section Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz —has delivered a new video for “Kissin’ Antonio,” the second single from the band’s recently released ‘Downtown Rockers’ EP, the duo’s first new release in a dozen years.
