Mike Watt himself will be on hand to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Minutemen’s classic Double Nickels on the Dime double album at the Bowery Poetry Club & Cafe in New York City later next week.

R.E.M. has set a June 23 release date for its Reckoning: Deluxe Edition, previously reported on here. Epic/Legacy will release an expanded reissue of the 1985 debut from Mick Jones’ terrific post-Clash project, Big Audio Dynamite, on Sept. 8, according to Pause and Play. The 2CD This is Big Audio Dynamite: Legacy Edition will feature a second disc full of b-sides and rarities.
