    Depeche Mode today announced it will release its 13th studio album — a 13-track effort titled ‘Delta Machine’ that was produced by Ben Hillier and mixed by Flood— worldwide on March 26, to be preceded by the first single “Heaven,” which will receive its world premiere on Vevo on Feb. 1.

    Depeche Mode today announced that Columbia Records will release its upcoming 13th studio album in March, signalling an end to the synthpop act’s relationship with EMI Music, which picked up the group when it purchased Mute Records in 2002. Neither an exact release date nor the album’s title have been revealed.

    Earlier this year, Martin Gore promised the next Depeche Mode album will be out ‘no later than early 2013,’ and now we’ve got a better idea of what that means: DM manager Jonathan Kessler tells Rolling Stone that the band’s 13th studio album is due out in April 2013 and will be followed by a ‘full world tour.’
