The Cure’s bassist Simon Gallup was unable to travel to Japan for the band’s set at the Fuji Rock Festival tonight due to a “serious personal situation,” but the show went on with a natural fill in: his son Eden Gallup, who’s also Simon’s bass tech and plays in the band Violet Vendetta.
