Primal Scream announce North American tour this May in support of ‘More Light’

After scrubbing a short set of U.S. dates last year to support 2013’s More Light, Bobby Gillespie will bring Primal Scream back to North America this May for a nine-date run that will begin with a previously announced set at the Austin Psych Fest’s three-day Levitation festival in Texas alongside The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Primal Scream today debuted the first single off the band’s upcoming 10th studio album ‘More Light,’ a sax-fueled rocker called “2013” that comes with a pretty creepy video — which you can see here — that features pinned moths, tied-up people and masked make-out sessions. The full album is due out May 6 in the U.K.
